European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI) is a distributed research infrastructure composed of a Central Hub based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and multiple national nodes located across Europe and beyond.
As a research infrastructure with the legal form of a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC), EHRI-ERIC was inaugurated in Warsaw on 26 January 2025, on the eve of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
EHRI facilitates Holocaust research, remembrance and education at a transnational level by overcoming the fragmentation of relevant sources, information and knowledge across different countries. It also develops new methods and digital tools for scholars and archivists and supports the training of a new generation of researchers through fellowships and internships.
